The Purple

I first took creative writing at the start of 7th Grade. Despite it being unfinished, his was the very first series I created. The Purple is about a boy named Nick, who one day wakes up seeing the world seems different. He than quickly realizes an error occurred in the universe with everything being purple. Gravity quickly changes and Nick finds himself floating up to space. What will happen to Nick and the rest of the world? Read to find out!

This was one crazy assignment that I received in the middle of 8th grade! For this project, we had to choose 20 letters of the alphabet, and write from 100-200 words about something that starts with that letter. It had to be something that included you, you really liked, or you were associated with. We were given about three weeks to complete this assignment, and it was quite a wild ride. This shows lots of my writing abilities but also some of my personality, so I would definitely take a look!

At beginning of the year in 8th grade, every so often we were assigned a prompt, and a word minimum. With these four assignments, I always put a creative spin on the prompt, and I always went WAY past the word limit. All four of these assignments are great short and sweet stories, but they certainly all tell a story.
